JAMs Craft Closet 2

Welcome to JAMs Craft Closet 2 Creative Crafter to Creative Teacher to Creative Crafter again...Life is GOOD! My journey started in the 1970s back in West Virginia where I opened JAM's Hobby Shop in my home. I had the PERFECT setup here. I could open my store, when I got home from work and still help with homework and cook dinner while waiting for my customers to arrive. Once I moved to Florida, I went back to college. I graduated in 1993 from the University of Central Florida with a teaching degree. I used my creative juices to make fun and engaging lesson plans for my students. This was such a rewarding time for me. I did miss using my crafty creative side. I would go to craft shows to peddle my ware, but I did not find this experience as appealing as having my own store. I poured my creativity into my students' lessons until I retired in 2015. After retirement and having the cleanest, most decluttered house on the block, I didn't know what to do with myself. I started crafting and making gifts for my family and friends. This kept me busy and out of trouble. I am very excited about opening my new store at Michael's Makerplace.
